Parts Coordinator - Aviva Auto Care Centre

Mississauga, ON.
In this role, you will proactively manage the process of ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching, and returning parts for each repair order. You will contribute to the customer experience by ensuring parts are received accurately and on time, aligned with production schedules and vehicle needs.

- Work with vendors to order and receive all parts as indicated on the repair orders confirming quality, correctness and quantity of parts received
- Accurately identify necessary parts to complete repairs in the shop
- Enter all parts and invoices into the body shop software tool
- Maintain proper parts inventory levels
- Monitor workflow of parts department ensuring work is completed
- Order parts that meet cost and quality standards of the automotive parts department, dealership and vehicle manufacturers
- Source new suppliers that are cost effective and have quality parts
- Manage processing and administration of parts back‑orders and return‑to‑vendor items
- Establish and maintain good customer service relationships and exceed expectations
- Make decisions that positively impact the site and the customer
- Maintain a clean and organized area for the automotive parts
- Promote Aviva Auto Care Centre values and goals
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1‑3 years of experience working in the automotive industry
- Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
- Commit to an environment of continuous improvement
- Effectively manage a fast‑paced environment, demonstrating multi‑tasking ability while working under pressure
- Demonstrates adaptability and openness to change with a proactive mindset in embracing new work practices and technologies
- Proficiency using body shop management systems; knowledge of Body Shop Connect preferred
- Proven experience and knowledge with motor vehicle repairs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
- Genuine curiosity and inquisitive mindset, constantly looking to make things better for customers and colleagues
