Job Summary:
To provide administrative and technical support for utilities locates administration, organize departmental filing, draft wastewater management reports, organize and analyze department records, and other assignments as directed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide support for utilities locates administration process
- Update the departmental MSDS binders as required
- Update the maintenance plan as required
- Conduct data collection and analysis in support of preparing business cases
- Organize departmental records, digitize as required
- Conduct research for technical subjects as assigned
- Provide administrative support including producing copies, tracking reports, database management, prepare meeting agenda and minutes, and filing, etc.
- Prepare presentations and reports as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
- Must have completed 1st year at University or College in Engineering, Chemistry or Environmental Science program
- Knowledge with report writing, process mapping and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a definite asset
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Database design and data analytics
- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office (Knowledge of MS Visio is a plus)
- Skilled in collecting, organizing and managing information
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
