Intermediate Site Inspector-Water​/Wastewater

Due to the continued growth of our Water Group in Ontario, our Construction Phase Services team seeks an Intermediate Quality Assurance Inspector - Water/Wastewater based in the Toronto/GTA area. The role involves diversified site inspection and contract administration for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.

Working with a high-performing team, your responsibilities will include:

• Full-time site inspections and contract administration assistance on water and wastewater projects.
• Acting as the primary liaison with plant and owner staff on contract issues and coordination.
• Maintaining detailed daily reports, records, and photographs.
• Reviewing monthly payment draws and related administrative procedures.
• Providing feedback and resolving field issues with design engineers, contractors, and owners.
• Keeping post-construction records and reporting progress.
• Ensuring construction safety procedures are followed.
• Implementing inspection procedures in line with professional and corporate standards, including quality control.
• Working extended hours as needed and traveling locally for projects.
• Completing required training such as Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights.
• Working outdoors year-round under all weather conditions.
• Mentoring junior/intermediate staff and assisting with site instructions, shop drawings, and construction issue resolutions.

• Supporting external communications and construction management activities.
• Following health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Scheduling and allocating work; providing leadership and coaching.
• Monitoring compliance with organizational policies and quality assurance procedures.

• 5-10 years' experience in water/wastewater treatment plant construction.
• CET, PEO EIT, P.Eng., or equivalent.
• Valid Class G driver’s license.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, judgment, and initiative.
• Experience in sewer and water main design, AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera P6 is an asset.
• Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights training, CISEC certification are assets.
