Construction Estimator Leadership

Position: Construction Estimator with Leadership Role
Shape the future with your skills as a Construction Estimator at Green Infrastructure Partners in Markham, ON. Contribute to estimating and tender management for impactful projects.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, your responsibility will be to deliver detailed cost estimates from tender specifications for large-scale construction projects. You will analyze significant cost components and lead the tender process independently. Your leadership will also extend to mentoring junior staff and ensuring robust communication throughout project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately interpret project tender drawings

• Lead tender meetings and establish project goals

• Provide detailed evaluations of project costs

• Maintain correspondence related to active tenders

• Support field staff through technical guidance

Requirements:

• University degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum of 5 years of related estimating experience

• Proficiency in estimating software tools

• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills

• Experience with municipal projects or MTO contracts
