Milling Groundsperson - Ontario Projects

Support critical milling operations with The Miller Group as a Milling Machine Groundsperson in Ontario. This position focuses on efficient ground-level management and safety enforcement on-site.

In this role, you will be an integral part of the construction crew at The Miller Group. Traveling across Ontario, you’ll assist in the operation of milling machines while ensuring safety and efficiency in asphalt removal. Mechanical expertise and communication skills will enable you to excel in this fast-paced environment, providing valuable support to the Milling Foreperson.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control milling machine operations and depth measurements

• Track material quantities and evaluate milled areas

• Maintain equipment through routine inspections and repairs

• Utilize radios for clear communication with the team

• Monitor and resolve safety hazards during operations

Requirements:

• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent

• 1-2 years’ experience in milling operations or construction

• Valid class “G” driver’s license with a clean record

• Physically able to lift up to 50lbs

• Skilled with measuring tools and equipment maintenance
