Construction Safety Coordinator

Become a vital part of Green Infrastructure Partners as a Health and Safety Coordinator based in Markham, Ontario. This full-time position prioritizes field inspections and the promotion of safety best practices.

As the HSE Coordinator, you will oversee compliance on construction sites, assist with safety training, and lead safety meetings.

Your role will ensure that safety protocols are adhered to rigorously while providing support to field workers and management with safety insights. Lead initiatives to improve safety culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive safety inspections on-site

• Facilitate safety talks and client inspections

• Recommend improvements for hazard mitigation

• Document incidents and improve safety protocols

• Liaise between field and management for effective communication

Requirements:

• Educational background in health and safety

• Over 1 year of safety-related work experience

• Knowledge of industry safety standards

• Proficient in MS Office applications

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have vehicle access
