Day in the LifeThe Field Coordinator supports and maintains all field-level activities required for the successful delivery of construction projects. This role acts as a critical link between the site and the project team by assisting with short-term planning, coordination of people and materials, and ensuring accurate flow of operational, cost, quality, productivity, and safety information.
The Field Coordinator works closely with the Site Superintendent to proactively support project execution while providing structured administrative and documentation support to keep the project moving efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities- Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower requirements in support of the Site Superintendent
- Assist with short-interval planning (2-week to 1-month look-ahead planning)
- Support service levels, site priorities, and rapidly changing project needs
- Act as a communication bridge between the site team and project controls team
- Collect, input, and maintain accurate project documentation to ensure continuity and traceability
- Provide forecasting, costing, and revenue-related information to the Project Coordinator
- Gather and submit QC/QA testing data and related documentation to the Quality Department
- Track daily progress targets, manpower hours, and production metrics for reporting
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project records in accordance with company processes
- Provide jobsite safety documentation and records to the Safety Department
- Ensure adherence to Miller safety standards, policies, and procedures
- Support site compliance with safety regulations and legislative requirements (e.g., MOL, MOE)
- Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Construction Engineering (preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in a construction or civil infrastructure environment (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Construction disciplines and field operations as well as Safety regulations and industry standards
- Knowledge and understanding of Scheduling, cost control, and quality processes
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
- Strong administrative, planning, and organizational skills with attention to detail
- High level of interpersonal effectiveness and ability to build strong working relationships
- Service-focused mindset with strong communication skills
Targeting $68,000 - $80,000 per annum
