Position: Senior Estimator for Construction Projects
Location: Whitchurch-Stouffville

As the Senior Estimator, you will be entrusted with developing detailed financial estimates for various projects. Your focus will span civil, industrial, and commercial construction, collaborating closely with engineers and subcontractors for effective project delivery. You’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate cost assessments and maintaining up-to-date unit pricing and supplier directories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze tender information and maintain documentation

• Provide and supervise quantity take-offs for accuracy

• Liaise with architects and engineering teams for project feasibility

• Set up construction progress schedules and reports

• Manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in estimating civil/heavy projects

• Experience managing contracts valued at $5 million or more

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Familiarity with Procore and MS Office Suite

• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
