About the OpportunityWe are proactively identifying experienced Construction Managers and Project Managers for an upcoming opportunity supporting a major mine expansion project in Western Canada.
While the project has not yet been officially awarded, we are building a pipeline of qualified professionals with proven experience delivering large-scale concrete, heavy civil, mining, and industrial construction projects
.
This role will play a key part in leading the execution of a significant concrete package—approximately 20,000 m³ of concrete
—within a large industrial processing facility. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced project team in a remote camp environment, helping deliver a high-profile expansion project from planning through execution.
- Lead the planning and execution of large-scale concrete construction activities.
- Oversee field operations while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate daily activities between project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and the client.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, manpower plans, and resource requirements.
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve construction challenges.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards.
- Manage concrete placement activities, sequencing, inspections, and coordination with field supervision.
- Support procurement, material planning, and project reporting.
- Foster a collaborative team environment while mentoring field personnel.
We're looking for professionals who possess:
- Previous experience as a Construction Manager
, Project Manager
, or Senior Superintendent on major industrial or mining projects. - Strong background managing large concrete scopes
, including foundations, structural concrete, and heavy industrial construction. - Experience working on remote, camp-based mining or heavy civil projects.
- Proven leadership of multidisciplinary construction teams.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost control, quality management, and contract administration.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, field-driven construction environment.
Experience with in the following sectors is considered a strong asset:
- Mining
- Processing Facilities
- Infrastructure Projects
- Mill or Plant Expansions
