Overview  The Project Coordinator supports the Project Superintendent by organizing crews and equipment, supervising installations, maintaining records, ensuring effective communications, and maintaining a safe working environment. He/she facilitates site control and monitors the safety of all employees and contractors on-site.
Scope of Role   Assist the Project Superintendent in managing and coordinating on‑site operations.
Assist in establishing and monitoring construction work schedules, including “look ahead” schedules.
Liaise with General Contractors and Owners, communicating daily operational objectives with the Project Superintendent.
Maintain daily diaries and records to fulfill contract requirements and provide a detailed history of site events.
Ensure all work meets contract document requirements and applicable standards.
Ensure compliance with federal, provincial and local laws, Occupational Health & Safety Acts, Construction Safety Act regulations and environmental requirements.
Provide input on site operations to increase production or solve problems.
Support implementation and maintenance of safety plans and tactics.
Order site‑specific materials and supplies.
Conduct and document regular health and safety meetings.
Assist the Project Superintendent in investigating incidents or complaints and preparing reports.
Enforce company policies and procedures for employees and contractors.
Work closely and diplomatically with all personnel to maximize operational harmony, productivity and efficiency.

Position Requirements   Bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
A EIT or CET designation is preferred.
2 years of construction experience desired.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and contract documents.
Professional attitude and superior communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, foresight, accuracy and attention to detail.
Pro‑active, able to manage multiple priorities.
Effective problem‑solving skills, making good decisions that meet or exceed project targets.
Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation and objection handling skills.
Ability to balance the big picture with keen attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude, commitment to privacy.
Strong written and verbal skills.

What We Offer  Expected Base Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year. Salary depends on experience, qualifications, internal equity, location and market expectations.
