In this position, you will serve as an advisor on health and safety for construction projects, ensuring all operations comply with OHS guidelines. Your responsibilities include conducting audits, facilitating preventive measures, and documenting any incidents. The role requires a proactive approach to risk management, demanding excellent analytical abilities and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on health and safety for construction projects
• Perform risk assessments and safety audits
• Generate reports and liaise with stakeholders
• Conduct regular inspections and identify hazards
• Facilitate incident and accident investigations
Requirements:
• Certificate/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety
• Minimum 1 year of field experience in construction
• Relevant certifications like CRSP, CSP, or CIH
• Solid knowledge of Ontario health and safety laws
• Class G driver's license and flexibility for shifts
