Position: Estimator with Leadership Focus - GIP

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, this role involves preparing detailed cost assessments and leading tender preparation activities. You will interpret tender specifications, direct quantity take-offs, and manage client communications effectively. As a mentor to junior employees, your insights will shape the estimating department's procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret tender drawings and specifications accurately

• Direct quantity take-offs from project documents

• Lead tender preparation and submission processes

• Provide technical support throughout project lifecycle

• Guide and mentor junior estimating staff

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• 5+ years in construction estimating

• Proficiency in commercial estimating platforms

• Ability to build relationships with clients

• Valid driver’s license and experience with city projects
