Become an Intermediate Health and Safety Advisor with Egis Canada for a 12-18 month contract. Support central Canada operations with a focus on safety in diverse project environments.
In this role, you'll provide essential HSE support, blending fieldwork with administrative tasks. The position requires 3 to 7 years of experience in health and safety, particularly in construction or infrastructure. Ideal candidates will thrive in collaborative settings and be comfortable managing multiple priorities while contributing to a positive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day HSE support for projects
• Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Assist with hazard identification and risk assessments
• Support project-specific HSE plan development
• Promote proactive safety engagement through coaching
Requirements:
• 3-7 years of HSE experience in relevant fields
• Diploma or degree in Safety or Engineering
• Knowledge of Ontario's Health and Safety Act
• Experience with workplace inspections
• Valid driver's license for site travel
