Adecco Professional Staffing is currently partnering with an established client to find bilingual talent for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative position in Markham, ON. Candidates should have 2-3 years experience in a busy corporate or call‑center setting and be able to support corporate and consumer clients over the phone and via email/chat. The role begins as a one‑year temporary hire with high potential for extension or a long‑term position.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am‑5 pm (no evenings or weekends) with a hybrid model of two days remote and three days in‑office.
- Respond to incoming calls in a professional and diligent manner in both English and French.
- Answer questions, inquiries and resolve problems/issues in a positive, time‑sensitive way.
- Process customer orders in an order entry system; assist customers with online order steps where applicable.
- Respond to email inquiries, chat and orders in both English and French.
- Build and maintain customer relationships to ensure business retention and growth.
- Serve a mix of business professionals, consumers and retailers.
- This is NOT a sales position.
- At least 2‑3 years experience in a customer‑service role, preferably call‑center or corporate with high volumes.
- Bilingual French/English – written and spoken proficiency in both official languages.
- Related post‑secondary education or relevant work experience (experience in pharmaceutical, medical device or general medical industry is an asset).
- Excellent interpersonal skills; suitability for a small team environment is key.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong MS Office skills and willingness to learn other PC applications; experience with SAP or other order‑management tools is a strong asset.
