We are looking to hire a Dental Receptionist who has outstanding communication skills and can build & maintain long-term relationships with patients to make them feel welcomed & valued.

Computer literacy is a must, as we operate digitally. The incumbent will need to have a good understanding of insurance plans, and a high level of confidence in making calls and scheduling appointments.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Markham, ON, for the role of Dental Administrator. The Dental Administrator will be responsible for managing daily operations, scheduling appointments, coordinating with dental insurances, handling patient inquiries, and ensuring efficient workflow within the office. Additional responsibilities include maintaining patient records, processing payments and insurance claims, and providing exceptional assistance to both patients and staff.

Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience working in a dental office

Sound knowledge of dental terminology & procedures

Confident knowledge of Dentrix software

Certification in office administration, medical administration, or related fields is preferable

Highly organized quick learner with analytical thinking that allows for effective teamwork

Must be able to multi-task, be self-motivated and be able to work independently

Punctual and reliable

Must have excellent command of English (both oral and written)

Dynamic, energetic, and professional personality is key

Strong computer and Microsoft Office Suite skills

Experience in Patient Care and working collaboratively with dentists and patients to provide a positive experience
