Position: Certified Dental Assistant for Northern Dental
Elevate patient care at Northern Dental Care in Sault Ste. Marie, ON as a Certified Dental Assistant. Contribute to a dynamic team by assisting with treatment and providing oral hygiene education.

We are looking for a passionate Certified Dental Assistant to join our collaborative dental team. In this full-time role, you will prepare treatment rooms and assist the Dentist during procedures. Your responsibilities include performing specific intra-oral tasks and educating patients about dental hygiene to combat diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms and assist during dental procedures

• Conduct patient education on oral hygiene practices

• Execute polishing and fluoride application tasks

• Take dental impressions and manage instruments

• Foster teamwork and maintain a positive clinic environment

Requirements:

• Completion of a Certified Dental Assisting Level II

• NDAEB Certification - required

• Registration with Ontario Dental Assistant Association preferred

• Open to new graduates and candidates from other provinces

• Effective communication skills with patients and families
