Overview
The role of a school assistant is to provide supervisory support to teaching staff during peak or critical periods of the school day, including lunch period supervision and yard duty supervision.
Total supervision time is approximately 60 minutes, typically from 12:20 p.m. to 1:20 p.m., variable depending on school schedule.
Responsibilities- Supervise students during lunch period.
- Provide yard duty supervision as required.
- Assist teachers during peak periods by ensuring classroom safety and order.
- Complete online virtual health and safety training prior to the start date.
- Demonstrate ability to supervise students and maintain a safe environment.
