Part-Time Teacher-Tutor

Elevate student learning as a part-time Teacher-Tutor at Oxford Learning Markham Boxgrove, focusing on language and social studies. Teach with pre-planned lessons in a dynamic environment.

We’re looking for dedicated educators who thrive in after-school and evening settings, Monday to Thursday, plus Saturday mornings. Ideal candidates will guide students using Oxford Learning’s instructional methods and will receive training to enhance their tutoring skills.

Your role will significantly contribute to students' self-esteem and learning confidence within a supportive community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct up to three students across various levels

• Primarily teach in-person with virtual lessons as needed

• Adhere to the methods of Oxford Learning

• Maintain detailed post-lesson documentation

• Keep families informed with regular communication

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification required

• Prior teaching/tutoring experience advantageous

• Strong command of English communication skills essential

• Capability to work with multiple students at once

• Preference for commitment until the June term and beyond
