The City of Markham invites applications for a Temporary Tennis Instructor role in the Recreation Department. This position involves designing, organizing, and delivering tennis programs for children, youth, adults, and seniors. You will ensure that lessons are safe, enjoyable, and tailored to meet various skill levels while fostering a fun learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead tennis classes for diverse age groups

• Create and submit appropriate lesson plans early in the program

• Prepare and manage necessary equipment and supplies

• Track attendance and communicate with absent participants

• Maintain a safe environment by enforcing regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in tennis instruction

• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR C certification

• High Five Certificate in Healthy Child Development

• Strong communication and customer service abilities

• Must be at least 16 years of age
