Position: Oak Valley Health Student Coordinator for Summer
Take on the role of Summer Student Coordinator at Oak Valley Health to manage student onboarding and enhance volunteer experiences. This position runs until August 2024, focusing on training and support.

Your responsibilities include liaising with staff, maintaining volunteer databases, and organizing recognition events for summer students. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and collaboration will be essential in fostering a positive volunteer culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee onboarding and training processes for students

• Update summer student database and hours worked

• Organize volunteer recognition events and activities

• Support staff with student placement evaluations

• Maintain communication to ensure volunteer satisfaction

Requirements:

• High school graduate, enrolled in post-secondary by fall 2024

• Volunteer experience, ideally at Markham Stouffville Hospital

• Leadership experience in a supervisory capacity

• Proven attendance and performance records

• Strong organizational skills and customer focus
