The PMA offers an authentic Montessori program and learning environment. As a Montessori Casa Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering the holistic development of children aged 3 to 6 years old. Utilizing the Montessori method, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. Your passion for early childhood education, coupled with your dedication to the Montessori philosophy, will empower young learners to become confident, independent, and self‑motivated individuals.

Candidates for the position will need to have a Montessori diploma (3-6) from a MACTE accredited or AMI training program. We are seeking a guide who knows how to challenge and support children to bring out their best qualities. Our ideal candidate is committed to their own lifelong learning and development and will bring a love of learning to the classroom.

Requirements
  • AMI or MACTE accredited diploma
  • Previous Montessori experience
  • Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for working with young children
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and other stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Excellent program planning skills and thorough knowledge of the Casa program
  • Experience working in a collaborative Montessori environment
  • Current criminal reference check
  • Current First Aid and CPR and up to date medical records
  • Updated immunization records
  • We will need two references from you
