This role, guided by the Program Coordinator, blends public engagement with environmental and historical education. In this part-time position, you'll lead tours, prepare programming materials, and contribute to special events. Flexibility in scheduling allows for up to 24 hours of work per week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide engaging tours and respond to visitor inquiries
• Prepare and present educational programming for diverse audiences
• Conduct safety checks and manage program materials
• Lead outdoor education activities and support special events
• Assist in onboarding new team members for program delivery
Requirements:
• Degree in history, museum studies, or a related field
• Experience in educational programming or as a tour guide
• Current Standard First Aid certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum is a plus
