The Fitness and Lifestyle Assistant is responsible for providing logistical and administrative support to professional certification courses.

Must be enrolled as a York student. Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor Certification.

Experience with instructing group fitness classes or as a personal trainer is an asset.

• Ability to communicate with others to explain and share information.
• Ability to provide instruction and support others in developing knowledge or skills.
• Ability to demonstrate organizational skills to carry out a variety of tasks.
• Ability to promote an environment in which everyone feels engaged.
• Ability to understand and demonstrate instructions, policies and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook or PowerPoint.
