Position: Elementary & High School Math Tutor Needed
Join Oxford Learning Markham East as a Part-Time Math Tutor, helping students master math and build their confidence. This role emphasizes in-person teaching and interaction.

We are looking for dynamic individuals who love working with children and want to foster their skill development in mathematics. The position includes evening hours and Saturday mornings, ensuring flexibility in your schedule. As a tutor-teacher, you will engage directly with students without the need to create lesson plans yourself.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach multiple students at different grade levels

• Follow structured teaching philosophies to deliver lessons

• Maintain communication with students and parents post-lessons

• Complete daily updates on student progress

• Ensure a supportive and engaging learning environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable certification

• Prior experience tutoring math, especially for grades 3-10

• Strong math skills and communication proficiency

• Capable of handling multiple students efficiently

• Reliability and commitment until at least June
