F​/W Campus Career Peer Educator

Purpose:
The Career Peer Educator is responsible for providing and promoting career peer support and services.

Education:
Must be enrolled as a York student.

Experience:
Basic understanding of job search strategies and resumes and cover letter writing.

Skills:

-Ability to build rapport and apply active listening and coaching skills.
- Ability to provide insight and suggestions to support individuals in making informed decisions.
- Ability to provide instruction and support others in developing knowledge or skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to understand and relate to others.
- Ability to lead and motivate others towards learning new knowledge.
