Teach Jewish Culture at Temple Har Zion

Temple Har Zion is hiring a part-time Religious School Teacher to promote Jewish traditions and values. Teach students grades K-9 on Sundays and Mondays from September to May.

In this role, you will engage with students and help them develop a strong Jewish identity. As a part of our supportive community, you will create and implement lesson plans that inspire and educate, while collaborating with fellow educators and communicating with parents. Your dynamic teaching approach will enhance students' learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create varied and engaging learning activities

• Manage class routines and student interactions

• Monitor attendance and student progress

• Attend school events and maintain open communication with families

• Collaborate with staff to deliver enriching group activities

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years teaching experience in relevant settings

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Understanding of pedagogical tools for effective classroom management

• Ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners

• Experience in Jewish community settings is a plus
