Position: High School Tutor for Math and Science
Support high school students at Oxford Learning Markham Boxgrove as a part-time Math and Science Tutor. Engage in meaningful educational interactions and help students overcome challenges.

This in-person teaching role emphasizes after-school and evening hours, ideal for current or aspiring educators. You will leverage pre-planned lessons to focus on delivering quality instruction in grades 9-12 math and science. This position is suited for individuals who enjoy fostering skills and interest in these critical subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tutor up to three students across different grades

• Implement Oxford Learning methodologies

• Keep communication logs up to date

• Fill in detailed notes post-lessons

• Uphold a professional and approachable demeanor

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or related certification

• Proficient in Grades 9-12 math and science

• Prior teaching or tutoring experience helpful

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities

• Ability to manage multiple students at once
