Oxford Learning Part-Time English & Math Tutor

Join Oxford Learning Markham East as a part-time English and Math Tutor and inspire students to succeed academically. If you love working with kids and teaching, this role is for you!

We are looking for motivated Teacher-Tutors who can support students in English and Math at Oxford Learning Markham East. This part-time position does not require lesson planning, allowing you to focus on engaging with students directly. Availability during after-school hours and Saturdays is necessary, and a commitment through the academic year is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and support up to three students simultaneously

• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies for effective teaching

• Document student progress through post-lesson updates

• Maintain active communication with students

• Foster a supportive learning environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or current university student with tutoring experience

• Understanding of Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Proven ability to manage multiple students

• Must be available evenings and Saturdays
