Acrobatics Dance Instructor - Aaniin Centre

Join the City of Markham as an Acrobatics Dance Instructor at the Aaniin Community Centre. Lead dynamic dance programs while promoting safety and enjoyment among participants.

As a temporary part-time instructor, your role encompasses planning and guiding acrobatic dance lessons for children and adults. You will craft lesson plans, oversee class operations, and ensure the well-being of all participants. Collaboration with program coordinators and volunteers is essential for delivering effective classes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach acrobatics to participants ages 6 and older

• Create and implement engaging lesson plans

• Ensure the availability and safety of equipment

• Maintain records of attendance and participant health info

• Brief participants and parents about events and changes

Requirements:

• Experience teaching acrobatics and child supervision

• Minimum two years in a relevant instructional role

• First Aid and CPR certification required

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Age requirement: at least 16 years old
