Markham Community Guitar Instructor

This temporary part time position offers a chance to educate students of all ages on Mondays from 6:15 PM to 9:15 PM. Candidates should possess a strong music background and a rich teaching history, ideally three years in guitar and music theory. Responsibilities include class supervision, lesson preparation, and participant tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and facilitate weekly guitar classes

• Develop lesson plans suited for various abilities

• Stock and maintain necessary teaching materials

• Keep attendance records updated

• Ensure participant safety and manage risk

Requirements:

• High School Diploma with music focus

• Minimum three years in teaching music

• Familiarity with First Aid and CPR practices
