In-Person Math Teacher​/Tutor East

Elevate students' math skills as a part-time Math Teacher/Tutor at Oxford Learning Markham East. This in-person role involves tutoring during after-school hours and some Saturdays to assist Grades 3-10 learners.

You will work directly with students to deliver engaging lessons and ensure they understand key concepts in math. The commitment extends through June, with potential summer opportunities.

Your role will require effective communication and exceptional multitasking as you manage three students concurrently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach math concepts to three students at once

• Apply unique Oxford Learning teaching methodologies

• Complete daily communication updates for parents

• Maintain professionalism and friendliness at all times

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience

• Strong math and communication skills

• Knowledge of the current math curriculum for Grades 3-10

• Capability to multitask with multiple students

• Vulnerable sector screening necessary
