Director of Major Power Projects

Influence Canada’s energy landscape as the Director of Major Projects d strategic initiatives across power infrastructure sectors including transmission and renewable energy.

Your role will encompass full project management oversight, from governance to client interfaces. You’ll develop execution strategies while championing safety culture and performance reporting.

This role offers an opportunity to align engineering and operational teams towards shared goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct major energy projects and stakeholder engagements

• Establish governance frameworks for effective execution

• Foster high-performance team dynamics and accountability

• Optimize project commercial performance and risk management

• Lead project closeouts and transitions to operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

• At least 15 years of experience in major projects

• Proven track record in the power and energy sector

• Strong knowledge of delivery models and risk management

• PMP certification is advantageous
