Take your design engineering skills to Multimatic's Mechanisms Engineering team. Contribute to innovative solutions for OEMs, working on components from hinges to advanced actuators.
This on-site role focuses on automotive design engineering with an emphasis on high-volume production. You will create and maintain 3D CAD models, lead product validation studies, and collaborate with various teams to enhance manufacturability. A deep understanding of mechanical design is crucial for transforming concepts into market-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain CAD models and engineering documentation
• Lead product development and validation studies
• Collaborate with program management on DFM and DFA
• Work with Electronics and Software teams for integration
• Perform hands-on assembly for prototype builds
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years in automotive component design
• Proficient in CAD software like CATIA or NX
• Strong knowledge of kinematics and materials
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
