Chemical Refining Engineer

Position: Umicore Chemical Refining Engineer

We are looking for a Bachelor’s qualified candidate with 3–4 years of experience in chemical manufacturing. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, leading trials, and managing refining materials while ensuring safety regulations are met. You’ll also engage with customers, addressing complaints and leading investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure operational excellence through troubleshooting

• Lead trials and manage refining processes

• Address customer complaints with appropriate investigations

• Oversee CAPEX management and new equipment commissioning

• Participate in Process Risk Assessments and HAZOP studies
Requirements:

• Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering

• 3–4 years experience in chemical manufacturing

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Proficiency in safety regulations and mechanical operations

• Capability to work effectively independently
