In this role within AMD's SERDES Technology Group, your responsibilities will include the architecture and documentation of complex transceiver circuits. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure project excellence, relying on your robust background in both electrical and optical PHY design. This position emphasizes a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive transceiver micro-architecture implementation and verification
• Develop and model electrical/optical link budgets
• Define specifications for key transceiver components
Requirements:
• PhD in Electrical Engineering or applicable experience
• Significant design experience in optical/electrical transceivers
• High-level expertise with high-speed data converters
• Experience with advanced PDK methodologies
