As a key member of the fire protection engineering team, you will design and develop complex systems ensuring fire safety compliance and performance. This role encompasses leading project delivery phases, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with regional and national teams to uphold high standards in fire protection engineering. Your knowledge will steer innovative practices in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design comprehensive fire protection systems adhering to codes
• Conduct hydraulic calculations and flow analyses
• Create and review engineering documentation and reports
• Oversee project phases from planning to execution
• Mentor junior engineers for skill development
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Canada
• Minimum 12-15 years of experience
• Familiarity with NFPA codes and Canadian standards
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
