Position: Lead Mechanical Component Engineer Role

As a key figure in a matrixed team, you'll oversee mechanical component design and ensure compliance with ASME and CSA standards. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed CAD models, developing design documentation, and leading initiatives to enhance engineering efficiency. This role serves a critical function in supporting the BWRX-300 SMR project efforts alongside various partners and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze components for nuclear applications

• Develop CAD models and detailed engineering documentation

• Engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Ensure adherence to ASME Section III standards

• Supervise project timelines and quality deliverables
Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 5 years of mechanical design experience

• 3 years in the nuclear sector

• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor CAD

• Eligibility for PEng. in Ontario within 6 months
