Join GHD as a Senior Structural Bridge Engineer in Ontario and make a substantial impact on transportation infrastructure. This hybrid role emphasizes technical leadership in designing complex bridge projects.
In this influential leadership position, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on high-profile bridge infrastructure projects. You’ll engage in critical planning, design execution, and lifecycle management while ensuring compliance with industry standards such as CHBDC and Metrolinx.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead bridge designs for rail and transit structures
• Deliver detailed specifications, designs, and cost estimates
• Ensure compliance with Metrolinx and client-specific regulations
• Coordinate integrated designs across multiple disciplines
• Provide on-site support and resolve construction issues
Requirements:
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario
• 15-20 years of bridge engineering experience
• Strong expertise in Canadian design codes and AREMA
• Proven project delivery experience from design to construction
• Familiarity with Metrolinx or similar rail authorities is advantageous
