Based in Markham, Ontario, this specialist role requires strong expertise in nuclear safety evaluations and regulatory support. You will engage with the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, assist with licensing documentation like Preliminary Safety Analysis Reports, and present technical information to regulatory teams. Your contributions will support successful licensing for advanced nuclear projects while fostering collaboration within teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in nuclear regulatory review processes with CNSC
• Prepare and submit license application documentation
• Conduct technical presentations to CNSC staff
• Coordinate responses on safety analysis and reactor design
• Collaborate with engineering teams on major projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant discipline
• 5-7 years of nuclear safety evaluations experience
• Proven track record in complex project licensing
• Knowledge of Canadian nuclear regulations
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
