Position: Engineering Co-op: High-Speed Connectors Role
Amphenol in Markham is looking for a Hardware & Test Engineering Co-op to assist with high-speed I/O connectors in AI/ML applications. This role provides hands-on experience in testing, setup design, and developing testing processes.

As an Engineering Co-op at Amphenol, you will engage in laboratory testing, fixture design, and detailed documentation for I/O connectors crucial for next-generation platforms. This position emphasizes practical engineering skills, where you'll participate in validating tests and optimizing setups for performance. Your collaboration with a diverse team will enrich your learning experience significantly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thermal and electrical testing on high-speed I/O connectors

• Design and assemble effective test hardware

• Develop custom fixtures through CAD modeling

• Maintain accurate records of test conditions and outcomes

• Work closely with engineering teams on validation processes

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering

• Strong interest in practical engineering and lab work

• Basic knowledge of circuits and mechanical systems

• Experience with CAD tools is an asset

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
