Join as a Senior Highway Design Engineer and lead design initiatives for Ontario’s transportation infrastructure. This role focuses on your expertise in preparing designs, working documents, and specifications across a variety of road types and projects.
As part of a specialized Transportation team, you will engage collaboratively with a network of clients, contractors, and junior engineers. Your strong background in design technologies and project management will ensure successful project proposals and approvals, establishing you as a key contributor to the team’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and review detailed designs for roadway projects
• Prepare necessary contract specifications and documentation
• Mentor and coordinate tasks for junior engineers
• Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders
• Oversee approvals from relevant transportation authorities
Requirements:
• P.Eng. credentialed in Ontario with minimum 10 years
• In-depth experience with infrastructure design processes
• Expertise in Micro Station, Open Roads, and Civil 3D essential
• Strong skills in cost estimation and documentation preparation
• Effective teamwork and communication capabilities
