Position: Automotive Mechanism Design Engineer Role
Become a Design Engineer at Multimatic, focusing on groundbreaking automotive mechanisms. Contribute to high-volume production solutions while working onsite in Markham, Ontario.

Multimatic is seeking a Design Engineer specializing in mechanisms, tasked with transforming innovative concepts into practical designs. You’ll utilize your 3+ years of experience to produce detailed CAD models and conduct validation studies. Collaborate with program management and quality teams to ensure the manufacturability of designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D CAD models with GD&T

• Conduct validation studies and lead product development

• Work closely with manufacturing divisions on DFM and DFA

• Prototype assembly to support testing and improvements

• Liaise with clients to ensure technical needs are met

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering

• Minimum 3 years in automotive component design

• Proficiency in CAD tools, especially CATIA or NX

• In-depth knowledge of DFMEA and DVP&R

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
