Prototype Buyer at Magna Electronics

In this role, you will oversee procurement and management of prototype purchases for Core/Application projects. Your contribution will ensure timely purchase orders and effective communication between project stakeholders and suppliers. With responsibilities spanning technical alignment and supplier coordination, your expertise will streamline the prototype execution process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and track Purchase Orders for prototype parts

• Coordinate with suppliers on pricing and lead times

• Provide engineering feedback on procurement-related decisions

• Enable timely prototypes through aligned PO placements

• Communicate with cross-functional teams for project updates

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent

• 1-3 years of purchasing experience in automotive

• Strong communication skills with stakeholders

• Knowledge of ERP systems and advanced electronics

• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
