Become a vital part of the Central Canada Buildings team as a Fire Protection Engineer in Markham, ON. You will design and implement fire protection systems across various sectors, with a hybrid work model.

As a Fire Protection Specialist, you will engage in multidisciplinary projects, ensuring fire safety integration through your designs. Your tasks will include hydraulic calculations, creating detailed design documents using AutoCAD and Revit, and applying NFPA standards to ensure compliance. Collaboration with various engineering teams will be essential to achieve project success while meeting regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and integrate architectural and mechanical drawings

• Create sprinkler layouts and detailed AutoCAD designs

• Perform hydraulic calculations using industry software

• Interpret NFPA standards and Ontario Building Code

• Coordinate designs to avoid conflicts with other systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering

• Minimum of 7 years in fire protection engineering

• Licensed Professional Engineer in Canada

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
