Position: CAD Technician Role in Water Management
Join Stantec as an Intermediate CAD Technician focused on water resources in Ontario. Contribute your CAD skills to meaningful environmental projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D techniques.
In this role, you’ll work on essential designs for hydrotechnical and water management projects. This includes preparing CAD drawings and interpreting detailed engineering marks to ensure precision in deliverables. Collaborate with a dynamic technical team while managing multiple priorities within a supportive office environment dedicated to addressing community needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop CAD drawings and design packages for water-related projects

• Interpret engineering markups into precise drawing outputs

• Create surfaces and profiles for hydrological designs

• Prepare grading plans and sediment control drawings

• Collaborate on channel and stormwater management projects
Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or similar

• At least 5 years of experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D

• Proficient understanding of drainage and water management principles

• Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written

• ArcGIS experience is an asset
