We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Building Restoration to lead a diverse portfolio of restoration and rehabilitation projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional who enjoys client-facing responsibilities, project leadership, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Manage building restoration projects from assessment and design through construction and project close-out
Conduct site investigations, condition assessments, and technical review
Prepare and review engineering reports, specifications, and restoration recommendations
Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and a fee proposal
Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
Monitor project performance, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved
Support the growth and development of junior staff through mentorship and technical guidance
Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to business development initiatives
Qualificatio
5+ years of experience in Building Restoration, Building Envelope, Structural Rehabilitation, or related consulting engineering project
Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Science, Architectural Science, or a related discipline
Strong knowledge of building systems, restoration methodologies, construction practices, and applicable building codes
Proven project management and client relationship management experience
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
Must hold a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada or be eligible for registration with the applicable provincial engineering association (PEO, EGBC, APEGA, or equivalent)
