Position: Lead Planner for Transit Projects
Join Green Infrastructure Partners Inc. as a Lead Planner in Markham, ON, where your scheduling expertise will directly impact transit projects. You'll guide teams in estimating and planning while mentoring emerging talent.

Reporting to the Planning Director, the Lead Planner plays a crucial role in enhancing project execution by coaching fellow planners and developing detailed multi-year schedules. You'll utilize Primavera P6, focusing on critical path analysis and ensuring alignment between schedules and budgets. Collaborating with Project Teams, you will forecast completion dates and track schedules to discover potential issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and coach planner/schedulers on best practices

• Develop resource-loaded project schedules in Primavera P6

• Analyze and monitor schedule performance during all phases

• Report on critical path and identify scheduling problems

• Assist project schedule analysis to ensure realistic timelines

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in construction for transit projects

• 3-8 years in a planner/scheduler role

• Strong understanding of drawings and contracts

• Excellent communication and prioritization skills

• Valid G driver’s license and willingness to travel
