Join BGIS as a Building Condition Assessor II, focusing on specialized asset assessments and regulatory compliance. This full-time position emphasizes building condition analysis and technical support across facilities.

In this crucial role, your responsibility will be to apply building condition assessment processes to evaluate asset conditions. With a degree in architecture, engineering, or related fields, and 3-5 years of experience, you'll ensure safety compliance and prepare detailed assessment reports. Collaboration with various departments is essential for maintaining building standards and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply technical standards for building assessments

• Identify asset component conditions and deficiencies

• Complete and submit project justification forms

• Provide repair and replacement cost estimates

• Work closely with Facility and Project Management teams

Requirements:

• Relevant university degree in engineering or building science

• 3–5 years of experience in asset assessments

• Enrollment in EIT or similar accreditation preferred

• Expertise in cost estimating and building science

• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time
