At Stantec, we are seeking a motivated Senior Water Resources Engineer to enhance our Water Resources Technical Team. You will engage in diverse projects spanning mine water management and related infrastructure, developing models and designing solutions that safeguard water quality. This role requires a rich blend of technical skills, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and project leadership from initial assessment through to closure plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage mine water resources projects throughout different mine phases

• Lead surface water resources assessments for environmental studies

• Design water management infrastructure such as sedimentation ponds

• Prepare proposals, budgets, and project work plans

• Author comprehensive technical reports detailing findings

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in consulting

• Master’s or Doctorate in a related field preferred

• Experience with numerical modeling tools and water management regulations

• Proven mentorship capabilities

• Valid G-class driver’s license required
