Position: Mechanical Engineer for Building Systems
Join our client's Markham team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer focused on innovative building system designs for various projects, including commercial and industrial. Drive the development of HVAC and plumbing systems while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

This senior role is pivotal for successful project delivery in Markham. Your expertise will shape the design of HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, and fire protection systems across commercial, multiresidential, and government projects. You will also prepare detailed drawings, reports, and HVAC load calculations, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, and fire protection systems

• Prepare drawings, specifications, and HVAC load calculations

• Review designs for compliance with OBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, CSA

• Attend site meetings and perform site reviews

• Support project delivery from concept to construction

Requirements:

• 5+ years of mechanical building services experience

• EIT or P.Eng designation required

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Carrier HAP

• Strong knowledge of building codes and design standards

• Valid driver’s license and vehicle access
